VITA
MCG
DEVICE

“Heart disease remains the leading cause of death worldwide, and many cardiac conditions still go undetected until it's too late. We aim to change that.”
– Clément Javerzak, MatterDecoder

This project envisions a portable MCG (magnetocardiography) device that cares for the patient without restrictions.
Designed around the human body and its environment, it transforms medical precision into a gentle and easy experience.
Through movement, light, and form, this device redefines how quantum technology can meet vulnerability with empathy and accuracy.

TECHNICAL SKETCHES

co-robotic arm

cobot arm designed by Tactile Inc.
MatterDecoder will save development time and resources by adapting their sensor technology to highly precise and capable co-robotic arms that are already on the market.
Using these arms will give the operator full manual positioning control with the ability to make fine-tuned adjustments digitally, to ensure ideal positioning over the patient's heart for the most accurate readings.
Individual motors in the joints will allow for automatic recall and repositioning when needed.

materials
The scanning process requires stability, lightness, strength, and most importantly, very limited to zero magnetic noise interference. These constraints directly influenced material choice and placement throughout the design process.

split-screen displays
Two touch displays provide operators with a clear, user-friendly, and intuitive interface.
They feature important patient information, real-time scan results, and detailed reports while keeping all the necessary controls within reach and always in the same place. This allows for easy training, efficient operation, and software updates to extend VITA's life cycle.
Physical controls are reserved for only the most crucial operations such as an emergency stop button, power switch, and volume adjustment.
